Facebook Privacy Settings - Now you see me, now you don't


Where are my Facebook privacy settings?

To access your privacy settings, click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page, and choose Privacy Settings. This page contains a group of general controls for your Facebook account, such as who can send you friend requests and messages.

 

Public:  is just what is says? anyone and everyone can go on your page and see your information. You can limit your page view to only friends or you can customize your privacy setting to exclude certain people or lists from seeing your information. 
Remember, once you allow someone to be your friend, all your posts will show up on their news feed.

Control Privacy When You Post

For everything else that you share on Facebook, you can choose your audience right w hen you post.  You can manage the privacy of your status updates, photos and information using the inline audience selector ? when you share or afterwards. Remember: the people you share with can always share your information with others, including apps. Learn more.



To further restrict what people see about you on your Facebook page, go to account settings. There are a number of settings to limit the display of personal information.
